Emergency Water Outage & Road Closure – Curling Street

Effective immediately, commencing at 5:00 p.m., the City of Corner Brook wishes to advise residents and businesses that there will be an emergency water outage and road closure today, Monday October 11, 2021. The outage is expected to last for approximately 4 to 6 hours and is necessary to make repairs to the water distribution system.

Areas to be affected are as follows:

  • Water Street
  • Aiden's Road
  • O'Brien's Lane
  • Sheppard's Avenue
  • Petley Street
  • O'Rourke's Road
  • Byrne's Avenue
  • Mary's Road
  • Curling Street #'s 108A to 237

In conjunction with the repairs, Curling Street will be closed to through traffic from the intersection of Woodbine Avenue to the intersection of Petley Street. The general motoring public is advised to use alternate routes.
